Welcome to our 4 persons Superior Suite corner apartment 213 with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, balcony, situated on the top floor of the brand-new hotel de Timmerfabriek in Vlissingen. This beautiful Suite is located on the waterfront and is free on almost all sides. It is one of the only apartments with a balcony of no less than 15m2.

Er zijn in Hotel De Timmerfabriek slechts 4 appartementen met een balkon. Suite 213 heeft een balkon van ruim 15 m2 aan de waterkant. Via grote openslaande deuren komt u op het balkon waar u met 4 personen  geniet van het uitzicht. Er staan 4 terrasstoelen met 2 terrastafeltjes.

Seaview

Suite  213 ligt op de bovenste etage en is aan bijna alle zijden vrij. Waar u ook staat, u heeft een waanzinnig uitzicht over het water en de voorbijkomende schepen met daarachter de Noordzee. Ook vanuit de 2 slaapkamers! Aan deze kant is er een nieuwe wandelpromenade en u heeft geen last van de weg, die aan de andere kant loopt.

Spacious

The 4 persons loft flat 213 (superior suite with balcony) has a living room, dining room, 2 separate bedrooms, both with private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. It is one of only 4 flats with a balcony (15 m2; interior space 72 m2). However, the space you will experience is much larger due to the 5-metre high ceilings.

Flexibility

The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hot plate, combi oven-microwave, Nespresso machine, water cooker, built-in fridge and dishwasher. This allows you to remain flexible; prepare delicious meals in the suite itself or go out for a meal in the hotel restaurant. Experience the luxury of a hotel. Breakfast is included in your stay and you receive the (cleaning) service that belongs to a hotel.

Comfort

A great deal of attention has been paid to comfort, such as generous box-spring beds, luxury bathrooms with rain shower, smart TV, safe and air conditioning. Enjoy free wifi, the extensive inclusive breakfast and free parking at the hotel. This is standard included free of charge. Bike rental is also possible at the hotel.

Privacy

because both bedrooms have their own bathroom with toilet, the flat is not only suitable for families, but also for friends who appreciate some privacy, combined with coziness.

Industrial heritage

The Timmerfabriek is a unique national monument, built in 1914 and the first concrete building in the Netherlands. A lot of history has been written in the Timmerfabriek. In the factory, the most beautiful ships were given their wooden accommodation and furniture, and then sailed all over the world.

Sustainable

The old building has been given a new purpose with modern insulation and a sustainable climate system powered by solar panels, among other things. The hotel has the highest standard within Green Key Label.

Characteristic building

The Timmerfabriek has an elongated glass saddle roof that functions as a skylight. The building has 5-metre-high ceilings and characteristic windows 3 metres wide and 4 metres high.

Stijl & Luxe

a unique hotel with hotel rooms and appartments, excellent service, a restaurant, bar and terrace with a view of Damen Shipyard's luxury yachts and the new docking area for pleasure boats. The industrial and rugged character of the building has been preserved and combined with a luxurious and warm interior in keeping with the grandeur of this heritage site.

Culinary

TREAT YOURSELF
Cooking is no problem at all in Suite 213, and you can also enjoy yourself in the hotel's restaurant. The culinary team provides delicious dishes in Gastrobar de Timmerfabriek, also with vegetarian and vegan options. Chef Frederik Karr provides a daily 4- or 5-course menu, with or without a matching wine arrangement.

Eindelijk is het karakteristiek gebouw aan voormalige scheepswerf te bezoeken en dan ook nog eens als een hotel! Wij hebben er samen met onze kinderen een heerlijke overnachting gehad in één van de royale suites met balkon waarbij we uitzicht hadden op de Westerschelde en de stad.

We spent 2 wonderful nights in one of the suites with a private terrace. You will be pampered from the reception to the farewell. The second evening we had a delicious dinner in the gastrobar with delicious wine choices with the dishes. The second morning after another delicious breakfast we reluctantly got on the bike to continue our journey. Will definitely come back sometime.

About The Timmerfabriek

Beautiful environment
De Timmerfabriek is located in the Scheldekwartier district of Vlissingen, all amenities are within walking distance. Vlissingen is a city by the sea; there is no other city centre so close to the water.

De Timmerfabriek is located on the Albionkade, the promenade along the water. This is also the mooring place for cruise ships and where yachts and ships have to wait until they can enter the historic Dok. So there is always something to see and do! 

Vlissingen has lovely beaches that stretch for kilometres and you can walk straight onto the beach from the boulevard.
The hotel is centrally located for discovering Walcheren and Zeeland, with a huge range of beautiful walking and cycling routes.
